Agree. Im getting a call from the same number. just a few minutes ago I pressed answer and let the person sit there for about 5 minutes. They just kept saying hello, I said nothing but did giggle a little after a few minutes cause they just kept saying hello. I wasn't and had no plans on saying anything was just over them calling. Ugh.
I got the same call Aug 2th 5PM EST. The guy with a Indian accent said I was selected by the government to earn $7000.
This is ridiculous. I am a foreign student in United State. Will the US government give free money to an alien for no reason? I don't believe it.
Second, will the government officer work after Friday 5PM? If it is for emergency or something important that might jeopardize his career. But definitely not my case!!!
He ask me to call (202) 697-9640 to confirm my information and get $7000. I just ignore it.
