I GOT 4 CALLS IN 20 MINITES FROM A MAN WITH A WEIRD ACENT! EVERYTIME HE CALLED I WAS NOT THERE AND THEY ASK IF HE WANTED TO LEAVE MESSAGE HE SAID NO AND HUNG UP! IS THERE ANY WAY TO FIND OUT WHO THIS IS!
8 missed calls in the last 2 days, no messages and when I call back same thing, with the WIP. They are oversees using the internet phones to con Americans while not having to pay long distance fee's
I recieved a call from the 202-664-1271. Said his name was Steve Williams( with India accent) from the Medical Office Provision in NY stated the government changed my medical for 1 month only. I would recieve a new medical card and a conformation number plus a little more money on my social Security check next month because of this benefit. In order to verify me would I give him my checking account #.
He argued with me when I said "NO". But he would not give me any of his information.
This is a scam number get it out to as many people as you can.
I just happened to pick up my Blackberry to open an e-mail and simultaneously a call came in. Beacause I clicked to open the e-mail, it answered this call from 1-202-664-1271. I didn't say anything at first and heard a thick Indian accent say "Hello" -- when they asked for "Chrishna" I said you have the wrong number. Then they tried to state my full name, I said "you have the wrong number." there was a disconnection then. I immediately googled the number b/c I joked saying "Watch...I probably just won something and screwed myself!" I'm glad I didn't!!!
This number is calling several times a day and doesn't leave messages. They started calling every five minutes. After ten calls five minutes apart I finally answered a man with an Indian accent asked for my 26 year old daughter by her (common) nick name so I know it isn't for any financial matters. I said do not call back. These calls are driving me nuts.
Two calls in as many days. I supposedly booked a trip to Orlando in 2005. A guy with a heavy Indian accent was the one who "I will help you....". He became frustrated when I did my best "Crank-Yankers" bit with him. This was call to my cell phone.
