This number calls and they claim to be from the department of treasury. They have accents from South Asia and then they use very vulgar language asking for account information claiming they are sending you grant money. received 4 calls in 2 days, as early as 7:30 in the morning. DO NOT answer the call to ruin your day.
Lol! I received a call from them 202-666-3800. The man with broken English told me I was chosen to receive free government grant money that will never have to be repaid. All he needed was a plastic card of any brand with balance or negative balance. I told him to just ship me a check. He replied, check? I said yes, you know a check that gets issued to cash. They hung up. I guess that means the government changed their minds. :(

Received a call at 11am from this idiot asking to speak with _____ he couldn't say my name right. He claimed to be from the federal grant treasury department, I asked how he got my number he replied from the toilet then I told him to go f*** himself and he used vulgar language then I hung up.
Just received a call in Tampa Bay area, Florida, from the above number. Same MO. Heavy Asian accent. Woman. Same claim to be the U.S. Treasury Department of Grants in Washington, D.C. and that I had been awarded a grant--at which point I talked over her and told her what I thought of her, and it isn't printable.
I got the same calls now they are using this number as well 202-666-1065. I downloaded an app for smart phone to block calls that literay hungs up on them it is called mr. number it works great. Now they dont have a chance to speak and leave a message it just hangs up on these scammers.
