Take it one step farther. Robo callers hang up on 4 or less rings 99% of the time. Set your voicemail to pick up on 5 rings. This works automatically and you don't have to be home to manually pull the plug. Since your machine didn't connect, your # has not been validated as working.
Scam phone call at 450 pm PDT. Did not leave a message. Report to FTC so they can find these jerks and shut them down; if not reported to them, they can not find the trail and catch them. Crooks do not care about a do not call list you signed up on -- they just want to sucker you in. Being angry because the Feds do not catch them is not the solution -- report the scam call and they will eventually get information enough to catch them. Otherwise these robo illegal calls will continue forever.
