Received a call from the number stating that the IRS was filing a lawsuit against my physical address. The supposed IRS representative provided his name, badger number and case ID number. The guy threatened criminal fraud charges due to "outstanding miscalculated tax amount", arrest warrant, liens against property, freezing bank accounts. Crazy stuff. And he was quite forceful. However, all would be resolved should I just pay the outstanding amount. SCAM!!!
Got a call/vm from this number stating they were the IRS and were filing a lawsuit against me. Pfff! Scammers; IRS loves me! I see no other reports on this number, but there are calls reported from a different/similar number with the same scam. Don't fall for it.
When I answered the call, a recording claimed the the IRS is preparing a lawsuit against our present address. They want us to call them back...ummm NO!
