This is a scam. Don't fall for someone that says they will give you a government loan if you pay money up front. Jacob got angry when I called him a scammer. They also called from 202-559-4622.
202 " AREA CODE FRAUD SCAMS".........have been going on forever !!!

NOTE / NEW !!!! SIMILAR AND IDENTICAL CALLS NOW " ORIGINATING" FROM THE "209" AREA CODE.......same crap / fake calls / fraud attempts , just a new area code............

PLEASE NOTE !!! THESE SCAMMERS ARE ALSO IMPERSONATING THE US GOV'T / SEVERAL GOV'T OFFICES AND PERSONS....BEWARE !!!
- they are also impersonating DEA officials / IRS / FAKE LAW FIRMS etc.... with threats to arrest you unless you immediately send money via wire transfer / western union to some offshore country !!!!! obvious scam !!!
some are landlines...many are cell phones...some are spoofed and linked to offshore foreign call centers / countries !!!!
we've traced back most of these numbers to offshore foreign call centers mostly in INDIA / THAILAND / AFRICA / JAMAICA ETC....
here's a few other numbers posted from the same area code offering a wide variety of scams / fake emails and scams after posting something on craigslist ( old scam ) ...... collecting for non existant " payday loans "....free money / scam giveaways / calling on behalf of a humane society..... $1,000's in free gov't money......... etc etc.....stories change out all the time......and the usual nonsense!!!
** mysteriously call to claim they have several thousand of dollars to send you / give ....just provide your bank account and credit card right away etc etc.........scam scam
several of these are the usual long ongoing scams such as : you have won a free walmart / bestbuy gift card....or you have won a free ipad etc......all long ongoing scams............

I recieved a call stating that I was approved a $1,500 loan. I was told because of my credit I need to send a refundable deposit of $200. I sent the money then was told I needed to send an extra $500. I backed out of the loan and was told I'd recieve my deposit money in 90 days. 90 days past I calle about my $200 then Jacob said I'd recieve it in 7 days. I call back after 7 days Jacob says I'll recieve my money after 14 days. I shouldn't have sent him anything!!! SCAMMERS!!!! He is very disrespctful and will hang up in you when you're talking about collecting money. JACOB BLACK 202-697-9128
I got one of these calls from 202-020-2020 saying I was going to receive a govt. grant of $6700.00.....did not ever have to pay it back, but make sure to not use it for anything illegal.
I have to call Mr. Black at 202-679-9128, he is the only person who can release the money to me.
They called 4 times in the past 2 hours so I only answered to see who it was.
I did give them my address and age...do I have to be afraid of identity theft by only giving my address and age??
I just received a call from 202-020-2020 (weird number!). I answered call and just like the above person (Martha) I was told the exact same thing. WORD FOR WORD! I didn't give them my age, but with hesitation I gave them my address. I will NOT be calling Mr. Black back (202-697-9128) after 5 minutes due to the fact 'he is with another customer'. I have received a call from this number probable 5 to 6 times this week. Today I answered. Do I have to be afraid of anything now - such as identify theft? What a dummy!
