Received call from 476-352-3632 indicating that I was to call the IRS at 202-697-9143 in reference to a pending legal issue. I have no legal issues with the IRS to my knowledge and have had no previous calls from the IRS. Believe this to be a Scam.
There is a widespread IRS or "tax scam" being practiced by scammers on both Canadian and USA residents.

Short answer:
The IRS never initiates a contact via phone.
They always send a snailmail first.

Got the same message. IRS website says to call them to report the scam at 1 800 366 4484.
Their website also has a link to the Federal Trade Commission "Complaint Assistant."
Once at the FTC website, choose "Other" and then "Imposter Scams."
