Received a call from 875 493 8544 stating that the IRS was filing a lawsuit against us and to call 202-697-9143 for more information.
This has to be a scam. The IRS never makes initial contact by telephone, always by U.S. Postal Service.
Caller ID said California 805-993-8144. Same scam said they were IRS filing suit against me today, to call back IRS directly at 202-697-9143 to get more information. BS!
Call from 202--697-9143 stating IRS has a lawsuit filed against me and this is the 'final notice". This is a fraud.. The IRS never initiates contact by phone and we don't have any legal issues pending with them.
