Someone calls on our personal phone with the number 202-715-5552. We pay our phone bill for our personal use and do not appreciate these unwanted calls. If they continue to call, an attorney may be contacting them to pay us for the harassment and unwanted calls.
Unfortunately, your attorney will probably have to contact them in India or whatever other overseas location they're really calling from. The Caller ID of 202-715-5552 is most likely faked.
Just because the caller says they are the Republican Party doesn't mean they are. People lie all the time. If they think you are Republican, they'll say Republican hoping they can scam you out of money. If they think you are a Democrat, they'll say that's who they are. It's all a scam. Don't blame the parties on this one--blame the scammers. I block them with Phone Tray. My phone will never ring again from this number.
I've had this number calling in repeatedly different times of the year. This is NOT the Republican Party. "Dist of Columbia" has used various other names which are all after the SAME THING...your personal info! This number has also been used as different types of charities. I have a new Panasonic phone set KX-TG465SK, 5 cordless phones, 250 call blocker feature if you have caller I.D., Costco $119.99. This model replaces my old Panasonic set that only had 30 call block feature. Easy to block all incoming scam callers. If they can't leave a message, I check the phone number on this website, before I block the number....pretty simple! I LOVE this website!!!!!
