Windows tech support scammer. The usual your computer has been sending error reports. The caller Id said said it was a call from Fido Fitness. Seems like a fake number. Caller had the usual east indian accent. He said he worked for Intech...yeah right.
Caller said he was from iTech (or InTech?), detected problem (corrupted folder) with Windows. Though phone ID showed a Washington DC number, the so-called "Tech Support" guy (Alex) gave me a Tennessee number to call back later. Definitely a scam.
Caller (in an east indian accent) told me he was an ITech and had been detecting problems on my computer with Windows for the past couple of weeks and wanted me to get on my computer so that he could show me how to fix the problem. I told him No, I didn't need help and hung up on him.
This guy has called me at least 30 times. I always answer "no" to every question and hang up.
No longer answer. Obviously a scam. There's nothing wrong with my computer
"LESTER" from "windows tech support" called twice and didn't leave any message(202-722-2220 in cid for both calls), third time I answer-sounding as old as possible- and "LESTER" starts his speel, problems with windows, I interrupt-" new windows, boy I sure could use some new windows, are they the triple gas sealed kind"? NO lester says, then goes on to try and "give" me a new "window's license", I interrupt- they took my license-and my car...lester attempts to tell me about a window's license asking me about my computer, I asked which one, lester asks how many I have, I tell him 4 and ask which one is having a problem, lester says all. At some point "LESTER" figures it out and says to "F88K YOUR MOTHER", then I let "LESTER" know where he can shove india and he hangs up. Not even 15 minutes later 202-722-2220 calling, I answer, "HELLO THIS IS LESTER FROM WINDOW'S TECH...I cut the moron off, laugh in his face, and ask if india fit up his AZZ???
