Same as everyone else. I've had these calls before for different amounts of money. The government Does NOT call you if they want to give you money! They communicate by mail.
This the first time , they called , about a computer from microsft, and something was wrong with
my computor running slow , the second time was goverment wanting to give me 8,500 hundred
dollars, the goverment dont give money they want money.
I also got them same calls, but if you can call fraud and get your money back, why not see what's at the end (just saying)why and how would this con't to happen if we exposing the scam? What's fraud number lol
I was given a website: www.usagovernmentgrant.org/personal_grant.html. seemed legit, but why would I need to pay to get money that is "free" to me? Tried to say it was going to be reimbursed.
Got a 'not available" call from a Hispanic sounding male, he asked a few questions. Tells me I'm going to receive 8700.00 for being a good citizen who has never claimed bankruptcy, or been arrested for a felony. I said yes, sure send me the money. Then we lost contact. Guy calls right back this time number is 303-356-9999 (Miami). We go through the dance again then he gives me the number 202-738-1577 says it's his manager to confirm my registration. He said to call right after we hang up. I said sure I'll call immediately. NOT
