Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
I received a call from this number asking me to call them because the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me. Out of curiosity I did call them and I did give my name and phone number but that is the only info I gave them. When they started talking about me owing $3000 I told them I believed they were scamming me and I he told me I could hang up and leave it in the authorities hands...trying to scare me into thinking I'd be arrested. I then hung up. Should I be worried? Did you give them any info?
