I've been getting calls from these same people told me I would get $8500 if I opened a account at the federal reserve would have money in 45 min yes its a scam everyone sounds really foreign don't waste time

I just got a call saying the same thing that i was selected to get a grant from the government for $8,500 then at the end lets me know i have to pay $250.......i was like what this is not true when he said i had to pay and another thing how do they know my name and number since i just switched to this number and its not even regestered under my name?????? So how do they know my name??????

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
