Got a robot call from 202-738-4703 claiming it was the IRS and that I had to call them. When I called they told me (eventually) that I needed to give them my bank account number to have the lawsuit that had been filed against me resolved. The IRS sends all such demands in writing and does not ask for your bank account number over the phone!
Got called today 9/24/15 told IRS was taking me to court and call this number to keep judgment against me. Funny but 2 weeks ago got letter from IRS saying everything was straightened out and I was right I didn't owe them anything.
We received a pre-recorded message saying it was the IRS and that they were filing a lawsuit against us.
