I got call from this number yesterday saying that I am eligible for benefit of 12000k. I will receive money in 3 months, 4000$ per month. She said her name is melissa. Something didnt seem right. She mentioned the money will be paid by bankofamerica. She gave the phone number of bank and her contact.nhe also took my details, dependents, income. She already has my address. I didn't give any other information since I found it fishy. Be aware
yes guys i got the same call the man was so called beric brown.he said he is calling from uscis the i mmigration office to help Asian minority people he also told me that we are going to get $12000 in 3 months.
We also got a call from this individual who claimed to be an officer ? from Cyber Crime Investigation Division. This is the second time this person called in two months. I am calling the sheriff's department about it and filing a complaint against the caller who ever he is. I warned him the first time he called that should he call again I would take action against him no he gets his wish.

I got a call from this number and this guy asked for my mom, they claimed they were from the IRS and that my mom owed them money, i told them nothing but except that i was her daughter and hung up on em', but they called back again; didn't answer. Something does indeed sound extra fishy.
There is a fairly common IRS or "tax scam" being practiced by scammers in both Canada and the USA.
