I received a similar call today. person called advising that they were from IRS. only asked for me by first name. did not use last name. advised that I needed a criminal lawyer to deal with IRS flag. Hung up and the caller called right back swearing at me that this was a real call. Advised caller that IRS wouldn't call someone and start swearing at them.
Likewise. Had a call from this number. Didn't answer so they left a message along the lines that they were the IRS and a law suit was being taken out against me. Good luck with that guys.
It is 6:36 AM PST and I just received a phone call from this number. It was a recording of a woman's voice stating it was the IRS and that they were in the process of filing a lawsuit against us. The recording said that they had been trying to reach us and this was the last phone call we would be receiving. The message told to call back immediately or deal with the consequences.
