I have been receiving calls from these 'card services' telemarketers for over a year now. I have been blocking each number they have called with (over 35 at this point). And I have been filing complaints with the FTC Do Not Call Registry and the FCC complaint site, to no avail. I do suggest you all do the same, and do not talk to them or call them back.
But to really get some attention, I created a petition on the White House We The People site. Please go there and sign it, we have to get the word out any way we can:
CREDIT CARD SCMMERS....i jsut answer and playalong of course not giving them any real information i figure waste their time thats x number less calls they can make that day if we all did it...theyd give up eventually....maybe....
I told one woman who asked me "you want to lower your credit card rate?", I replied "no, I want you to get a real job and quit harrassing people with your crap calls!!"
