I have been receiving calls from these 'card services' telemarketers for over a year now. I have been blocking each number they have called with (over 35 at this point). And I have been filing complaints with the FTC Do Not Call Registry and the FCC complaint site, to no avail. I do suggest you all do the same, and do not talk to them or call them back.
But to really get some attention, I created a petition on the White House We The People site. Please go there and sign it, we have to get the word out any way we can:
The robo calls keep calling out home. If you press 1 to speak to a live person and tell them to take you off their list, they always hung up on you. One person told my wife to F off. We are on the do not call list but it does not matter to them. What can we do?
Got call from this number asking to hit 1 to lower my credit card rates. No option to remove from call list. Hit 1 to talk to someone and as soon as I said I need to be taken off the list the woman who answered hung up on me.
I constantly get an automated message from "Rachel" about lowering my credit card balance.
When I speak to a live person & request being removed from their lists, there is an immediate hang-up by calling number.
When I call 202-747-1103 , the automated message states: that the call cannot be completed as dialed, also, stated "no longer in service".
