Got a call from this number about five minutes ago....a heavily accented man who identified himself as Evan or Elvin Scofield(LOL)  and that he was from the US Govt Grant Department.....I asked him what country he was calling from and he said United States a few times....really difficult to hear him and bad connection....kept wanting me to confirm my name....never did and I told him I was going to have to hang up and did....

They just called me and I picked up the call with a hello. There was a small voice sounding like a young girl. She sang me a sentence and then hung up. Weird. I couldn't tell what words she sang.

I posted here a few days ago but just wanted to post again to help everyone out here:

The callers are just AWFUL!! The worst part is someone is saying this is "Voice Solutions," which happens to be the name of the company I work for. It's not us making these calls. We're based out of Minnesota and have a 763 area code, 202 is Washington. I've reported this to the FTC and FCC once again as someone was using our company's name before from this number: 202-747-6231. Please, please report this to both the FTC and FCC as well.

You can verify that Voice Solutions of MN is not the one making the calls at our BBB page: http://www.bbb.org/minnesota/business-reviews ... th-mn-96209273/

We've pursued as many options as possible to get this to stop as we know it negatively impacts all who receive these calls, and is damaging our name and reputation. We value privacy, and do not even offer services direct to consumers (we service businesses). Unfortunately, all agencies I have contacted to help us say there is little that can be done because scammers use software and applications to create false caller ids. It was explained to me like this: A scammer could write a letter and send it right from their home in Washington, but then the scammer could make the return address say anything they wanted, including a different name, a business name that is not theirs,  or a different state. It’s next to impossible to verify what the true specific location and actual sender are, which makes it near impossible to pursue any kind of action by the government agencies or anyone else.

It's frustrating as heck. I feel everyone's pain who is receiving these calls.
