Came through as Cell Phone DC on the caller id. Answered and after a brief moment where the call connected, the person said, "This is the U.S. Government and you have been selected to receive a $9000 grant from the government. I'm sure you..." I cut her off. She could barely speak English. The call center was SO LOUD that I could barely hear her. And when I told her it was a scam she hung up on me. There is another site where nearly a hundred people have reported the same call with various responses from the callers including "f&^k off." Btw, they won't mail a check, they will only deposit money directly to your bank account (which means giving them personal information so they can steal your stuff) and others have stated that they want you to pay first. Um... no.
I get a call from this number every twenty minutes. When they first called me they knew my full name, address, and phone number. I've tried to answer to tell them to stop calling and nobody answers. The fist call said "Egypt" and anything after that has been various combinations of their main number which is posted below.
