Same thing.....Man with middle east accent informing me I was eligible for a 7,000.00 grant because I pay my bills on time and have not filed bankruptcy in the last 6 months! I told him I did not believe he was from the federal government and it was a scam and he hung up!
Got a call today from this number telling me that the goverment grant me $7000.
It was a guy with an accent, middle eastern. Sounded like a total Scam!
Got the same type of call--guy with an accent telling me he was calling from the federal government treasury department, that I was entitled to $7000. I didn't believe him, and told him I knew he wasn't calling from the federal government. He said "Oh really?" but then he just hang up on me, and I couldn't dial back the line. He wouldn't have hung up on me if it was legit. I will block this number going forward.
