The person said there was a miscalculation of taxes and he owed 3600.00 and it had to be paid today or they would come and take the car and throw them out of their house. The name that was given was Officer Kevin Prown....This is a shame that our country has came to the point where they are preying on the elderly and trying to get money in such a cruel manner.
Received a voice message, because I did not answer the unknown number, stating I needed to call 202-766-6099 because the IRS was suing me. I googled the # and found out it was a scam.
Left message on answering machine. I called it rings then transfer and rings transfer again I finally got a guy who is foreign accent . Said my husband's name and said something wrong from 2008 to 2013 . I asked if I could record phone call also a lot of background noise . Finally I said I would contact the Irs myself.
