They said i was granted by The US government for 8500$

I just got a call fromthis numbe and they say I was granted 9000 but had to put up a security deposit of 290 dollars first. Did you do what he asked?

I got this call today, the guy with Indian accent.

Said i had been granted 9000$ no pay back ever.

Gentlemen with a Nigerian accent called 2/22/17 & stated I was chosen by the Dept. of Health & Human Welfare  to receive  $9,000,via a bank card, Walmart,  Dollar General  etc. Call 202-792-8856 for the  transaction. Scam?
