A foreign Indian man called and said he wanted to give us a grant of $8500 and we can pick it up at Western Union or Walgreens please to verify information I said I do not give out personal information. He got very upset he said I was laughing at him and said this was not a game or a joke he had $8500 to give me. Then he wanted to talk to my husband and my husband said he did not give out information either. Then he got a little upset and said he was going to put a hold on all our debit cards and credit cards and sue us I just laughed and told him he need to get a job and go back to his own country then he hung up on me.
A woman with a strong accent called to inform me that I was randomly selected for a U.S. grant of $8000 that I could spend on anything but drugs, of course. She already had my name and address but needed to "verify" my checking account info. She could hardly read the script properly. She also gave me a number to call (202-455-5280) since I opted for my lovely winnings to be transferred via Moneygram/Western Union.
I got a call from them... I said hello a couple times. Then this guy with a very thick accent starts saying FU. I said What?/! Who is this - they said FU, Mother effer. I hung up.
