Okay the one with the foreign accent was hired for a boiler room overseas. The one with the American accent is associated with the overseas scammer. They talk to each other. Calling with different numbers and accents are tricks they employ, but the fact of the matter is that they are all connected and what they are after is your credit card number and bank account information. In other words they are working to promote the lie known as Rachel/Heather/etc(Credit Card Scammers).
They called twice today, the caller id said appointment so I answered, thinking it was a dr. apt reminder. She started talking about diabetes and I asked who she was and she hung up. Right away they called again but said nothing so I just left the call open until they hung up (about 30 seconds).
Just had 2 calls from these scammers. First a woman with a foreign accent was there and actually had my wife's name!!! She is NOT diabetic. I told this broad to remove our number, but about 15 minutes later, they did it again, but no one spoke. This is harrassment. We are on the 'do not call' list, to no avail.
It is "Diabetic Supplies" from Wash. The use several regular numbers to telemarket, and they are a scam to confuse the elderly into giving them their insurance information so they can charge them for diabetic supplies. Frequently there numbers will say 'appointment' or something like 'reminder about your diabetic supplies'. They are usually always people with a foreign accent (hispanic/middle eastern). They can be ruthless if you make them mad and call you several times a day. I old one lady she should be ashamed of how she makes a living and she threatened me with what she would do to me if I was face-to-face. They will hang up if you ask for a supervisor, and they will never take you off their call list no matter how many times you ask them to. When you block one number, they will eventually start calling again from another number. It's pretty sad that nothing has been done yet about these people.. they've been scamming the elderly for years now. Several times my elderly mother was confused by them and almost gave them personal information (which they will ask for). Don't do it!
Btw, the soliciters will also lie to you and claim to be 'medical professionals' on the phone, but start asking them anything and they obviously are clueless!
