it was an automated message saying that they were the IRS and found an additional 2173.00 on our taxes to call back so they can check our credentials. looked number up on internet said it was a spam.
my husband had me look up on computer thought maybe it was back child support from his x. nope it wasn't. I told him to not call back this 2028007738 number that it was a scam. these ppl need to get a real job. every holiday they call saying we owe money for a bad check that we didn't write. now they are doing it at tax time hoping to throw you off. it didn't work. something needs to be done with these ppl!
I received the same call stating that there had been a mistake on my taxes and they needed to verify my credintials to send me $2173.00.I figured it was a scam and never returned the call,and glad I didn't after coming to this site
