Hi I have been getting calls from this number saying the irs has a lawsuit against me. When I call it saids the person you're calling is on the other line and the mailbox is full. So today I called and just like everyone said an Arab or Indian man answers and asked me what number did you receive the call too and when I told him he said this call is being monitored and I asked what is this in regards too and he said your taxes were from such and such year were filled wrong of $2000 and if you don pay $200 to investigate this manner the police will arrest you where ever you are. I called the irs and they said it's a scam and that the irs would never threaten anyone and especially send the cops to get you. These people are horrible and it's a shame their are people like this that exist.
Inveest in a call blocker and do not pick up on call numbers you do not recognize. Be wary of any call with a 202 are a code. The scammers often use that area code in the IRS scam.
Called me 5 times today threatening me about taxes owed. When I told him I had already reported him he said , tell them to catch me if they can" and hung up. Claimed to be Mr. Werful.
I received call from women. She said I owed IRS $1800 because they were suing me. I had trouble understanding her and told her to call back with someone I could understand. No call back yet
