The callers are from India, where it is daylight and working hours over there. This is an IRS scam. You will need to block the number as India does not cooperate with US law enforcement and encourages these crooks to continue as long as the government and police are paid bribes.
I am being stalked by this number. I am not involved in any kind of lawsuit, message they leave states I need to call them back regarding a law suit against me. Have called me 2xs a day for one week straight. It is un-nerving and upsetting. I've reported this number to my local police also.
I had received a phone call that from one of the Washington DC areas. The voice on the phone said that I had owned money to the IRS and want me to pay. After I hang up and called back in menacing to call the police, a Middle Eastern or East Indian man answer the phone and said,"I love you, baby" for a few times and I put the phone down. Yes the number is the same as the number above, 202-800-9099.
