I just received a call from this number. They left a message saying "congratulations member" and stating that I had been "approved" for a credit card and to call back to activate the card. I suspect a scam, but either way I am registered on the national do not call list and have been for at least a good month and probably two.
4 calls a day is rediculous especially since i am registered on a do not call list. I've had it with the calls. I work nights and they call at 8am in the morning. How would they like it if I called them at 2am?
Just received a call from this number. The screen said "Do Not answer" - so of course, I did not. My phone company only allows for blocking of up to 12 numbers, and I reached that number the first day. I need to find a way to block more numbers. I'm continuously doing a round robin and going back to the first number and erasing it off my list, hoping it will have stopped calling after receiving a message saying I stopped taking calls, so I can add new annoyances in. Of course, you block one number and they just change to a different number. It's ridiculous to have a DNC registry when there are ways around it.
You can download "PhoneTray Free 1.39" (search for this) from the Internet and you can block all of these annoying numbers. After you input the numbers, your phone will ring as disconnected. I went from 19 calls in 1 week down to 2 calls the following week. THIS IS NOT A SCAM. It's the real deal. I also have the same company that only lets you add 12 numbers, but PhoneTray Free lets you add as many as you want.
