I just received a call from this number. They left a message saying "congratulations member" and stating that I had been "approved" for a credit card and to call back to activate the card. I suspect a scam, but either way I am registered on the national do not call list and have been for at least a good month and probably two.
I was called from this # today, but I didn't answer. I live in a "battleground state" so we've been getting a lot of these lately. Usually, the first question is about gender, and if you indicate "male" they hang up.
Got a call from this number. The caller ID said "Do Not Answer". Seriously??! I didn't answer, but I did call the number back and it was a recording that said they are a federal research company and they are sorry to have missed my call. I'm on the Do not call list too...
