202-810-2994 This number call my mobile, left message saying they are the IRS, and was calling about "suspicious activity" may result in arrest warrant. Did not say whom they were looking for, or what about. Just said to call them back at same number.
I called it and some foreign speaking person asked for my name. I said I don't give out personal information unless I know whom I am speaking with. They did not answer phone saying IRS. I said your number called mine, and regave the number for them to look up. They didn't pay attention to what I was saying and again asked my name. So I repeated that I don't give out personal information, but here is my number that you called and we will go from there. They hung up on me! IF they were the IRS, they would have been able to tell me my name or whom they're looking for. So, as the person sounded foreign, I don't know who the hell they are and I suspect they are a scam.
An IRS massage, yes folks I deliberately meant massage because that is what the idiotic recording said. Also told me to call them back immediately of an arrest warrant for me would be issued. Blocked that number but know they'll call using another, they tried this on my niece and their foul, disgusting calls went on for weeks before they stopped bothering her. All she did was tell them she knew it was a scam and hung up on them, then they flooded her with vulgar calls. Pathetic [***]
Got a call this morning saying it was the IRS and there was some activity detected on my account and a arrest warrant was issued for my arrest.. Good thing I know the IRS does not call people to notify of such..
