I got the same message that Beth did on my cell phone. Since I don't own any property, file a standard deduction, don't have dependants, and get a return every year, this is complete and total bs. Grrrrrr. I'd love to know how my cell phone #got on this robocall scam lists. I've been on the Pennsylvania and national do not call list for years.
I got the same message, and I called them back, I got someone with broken english with a very heavy accent telling me they were calling from the IRS, I replied to them by telling them, if our government cannot hire someone that can speak proper english do not bother calling me again, they hung up on me, they then called me back, and I told them I will be getting ahold of the FBI to report them, I will be later today.
