Ditto, Very similar threatening content in message. In spite of the coffee, I was still only half awake. The inanity of this call did the rest. I am now fully awake and amused.
Couldn't hear the first part of the message all I heard was something about tax fraud in my name , first of all what is my name? I immediately blocked them
It's the IRS and they say I'm going to jail. I guess they know my political party affiliation.
I've received this call twice before (from different locations around the country) and called them back each time. It's always the same person who answers. He sounds like he has an Indian or Pakistani accent and announces himself as being an IRS or Treasury agent. After having some fun with him, I hang up and put a block on his number.
