Answered because it was a DC number. Robo caller said, "Hello, this is Suzy, how are you?" Hung up then so I do not know what the scan is. Blocked number.
I got this call. Didn't answer but I did call back. A voice came on and said "no representatives are available but I would receive a call back within a day. If you received this number by error press 1 to be added to our do not call list"
I pressed 1. We will see if I'm removed.
entering a "1" at the prompt won't eliminate the calls (they didn't stop calling me after I did this, so I blocked) - more than likely it just confirms that they robo-dialed a valid number.
Pressing 1 just lets them know that someone will answer at your number, and now it will get circulated to numerous other telemarketing companies. You might want to buy a Call
