I received a similar message, almost identical to the one you stated. Did they return your call and did you report that to the IRS? I am reporting this to IRS.
Report it to the police or just ignore that calls. Bad thing is , is that they have ur information. But they are calling to Try and get ur SS# and bank info. Just don't give it to them. Tell them u know the phishers and you'll contact IRS urself
my daughter was called by 2028641298 telling her she owed irs 6000dollars that if she didnt pay she was going to jail officer brain called her telling her that she was in trouble by irs she doesnt work to claim taxes when I called him he got mad I told him no irs sends you a letter by mail.he said I dont want to talk to you anymore they had my daughters information.this poeple are doing wrong.we called the police and going to a lawyer to report this scam.
Just got a call from officer John Harrison from this number as well. The operator n everyone else in the back ground had the same [***] accent. Same threats. After researching the number I called back told him to loosen the rag around his head and shove the loose end so far up his [***] he chokes! GOOGLE ANY NUMBER UR NOT SURE OF!!!!! Then file a complaint with the authorities.
Got a call from an "Officer Brian Jones" with a heavy Pakistani accent an hr ago, trying to put pressure on me, that I owe the IRS and if I hang up, because they already tried to serve me with a "court date", there will be a warrant for my arrest, they will freeze my accounts, take my assets, etc. They try to get you nervous enough that you'll cave in and probably send them money, unfortunately for them they didn't get that far, I work for an attorney, I'm still waiting for the fax showing proof of the IRS matter against me.
