they call our house...like everyday..and then dont answer...and then we hang up...and its like an every day ritual...they say they are internal revenue services and that we qualify for a three thousand dollar grant if were intrested to listen to what she says & then when we say no they hang up
I received a call from this number on my cell phone and have no idea what they want. I pushed ignore since I don't know anyone from SW Connecticut. Whoever it was didn't leave a message.
This number called where I work and identified themselves as the Loreal Office-Canada. Then they asked for the name of the VP and Directors of our Marketing department. Now, here's the funny part...our company is owned by Loreal, so I said "If you're Loreal, then you already have this information." The lady on the other end got very rude with me and said "well i had hoped you would be nice enough to help me with this information, but I guess I will have to speak with your supervisor!!" I said" I'm not at liberty to give out the names of our executives, and if you were from Loreal, you would know those names already! You aren't from Loreal." No answer. I said," I can pass you over to an executive assistant, but I can't give you any of that information, as our company protects the identities of our employees." The I sent her call to an executive asst. and walked over to that desk to inform her that I thought the company was misrepresenting itself as Loreal (our parent company) and was trying to get names of employees by using intimidation, thinking i would be afraid that I would get fired . NO NO NO. It wasn't our parent company calling. It was CCT. They are a lying bunch of scum that get names of employees from large companies, then sell those names to "head-hunters" and telemarketing companies so those companies can call and harrass. BUSTED!!! I called the number back and NEVER got a live person but left them a voicemail telling them that I was reporting them for misrepresentation...and that they happen to have made a mistake by calling a company owned by Loreal...so I knew they had lied!! BUSTED big time. I hate companies like this. Scum and liers!!!
theycall every day on my cell phone between 7:30am alaska time and 10pm I've answered once and no one says anything. is there anyway to make these calls stop? how did they get my number? my phone rings all day long, and I can't get them to stop calling...
