Received an e-mail from ACS Legal Group supposedly regarding a payday loan that I owe money on to a company that I have not heard of to call this phone number or I will face legal action. I am choosing to ignore the e-mail.
I received an email asking me to call his number. They said to ask for Mike Jones and I am being sued for $528.00 for a payday loan I did not receive. I don't believe them and ignoring the email. It does not state my name anywhere on the email. If i was being sued, I think they would send to my home address not email! Can you say scammers??????
Just got an email stating I am being sued for $529 from Advance Cash America for a payday loan. Guess what, never did one. I have reported this to the local sheriff and to the FTC. This is crazy that these people would send this out and then expect you to pay them. If they think they are scaring people they are wrong. R3N7
Just recieved a email saying that I owed 490.00 to Advance Cash America. Never had a loan with them. is name is Mike Jones and this is a scam. I am ignoring this email. He is saying legal action will be taken against me if I do not respond.
Received an e-mail from them today to call this phone number regarding a loan that I don't have:
They are also using the following phone numbers when sending e-mails-347-468-8480;229-518-4822;404-418-5006;585-496-7800; and 302-956-9500.
This e-mail is a notification to inform you regarding your account with Advance Cash America that has been referred to my office for collection action. We are a Collection agency and a Legal Attorney. As per my client (Advance Cash America) you are currently some payments behind on this pay-day loan account. The total outstanding amount on this account is $692.85.
This is the reason we have been instructed to bring legal action against you as may be necessary, which may result in Judgment.
The received case file mentions that you have failed or refused to pay the above referred claim even though it appears just, owing, and correct.
You are hereby further advised that if the payment is not set up within 2 business days of the date of this e-mail, suit in small claims court may be commenced against you forthwith and without further notice for the amount indicated above, together with prejudgment interest. Instead of small claims court, this matter may be referred for suit in municipal court.
As my client is sure you are aware, if this matter goes to suit, all court costs, process server's fees, sheriff's fees, attorney fees where permitted, and other post judgment costs will be added to the amount that you already owe.
