These scumbags are spoofing Caller ID, using a VOIP robo dial program.
Sometimes, the spoofed phone numbers are not valid.
Sometimes, the spoofed phone numbers are legitimate. When this happens, the real owners of the spoofed numbers become victimized by hundreds of angry people like us.
Being on the DNC list doesn't help.
Having an unlisted number doesn't help.
A computer is doing all of the work.
I received a call from this number and I didn't answer, went to voicemail but no message left. I tried to call it back. The first time was busy then after that recording said this is not a working number. So sick of getting calls like this. What I would like to know is what could they possibly stand to gain by doing this.
So sick of these automated telejunk services disguising themselves under standard phone numbers. Electronic message about reducing my interest rates. Was definitely not my credit card company.
I did answer a call from 205-337-0372 and it was a recorded woman's voice saying it was about decreasing the interest in my credit card and I should push 1. They never gave a name or any kind of actual info. I hung up as my bank would not send calls like that, good gravy.
