Just got a call from this number. Called PG&E, definitely NOT them.
My guess? Scammers trying to get account info.
Also, I called the number back & got a recording of a man with an Indian accent telling me that the person I want is not available, but no way to leave a message.
I just recieved a call from this number as well.. They claimed to be from PG&E and said I qualified to recieve savings for being a good customer to PG&E. I asked them exactly what savings they could provide, then blurted out more b.s. I just told the guy that I will contact PG&E directly and find out for myself if I can recieve any kind of savings. He then hung up.
Hopefully he doesn't attempt to call again.
I've gotten a call from these fools before. I just hung up. But tonight takes the cake. It's 10:45 and the phone rings once and stops. This number is on the caller ID. I could choke a [***] while kicking puppies right now I'm so pissed off!
I have been receiving these calls for weeks. They never say anything just wait for me to pick up and then they sit there and then hang up. So last night when they called I screamed a blood curdling scream in the phone. I thought that would stop them from calling but nope. Just got another call from them. So I did a google search and found this. I'm glad I'm not the only one dealing with this. It sucks that anyone is having to deal with this BS but glad I'm not alone. I just called the number and it said this number has been disconnected. So who knows if these punks are actually in Alabama or if they have just cloned the line or something. How do we go about getting this reported? This is beyond annoying!
