When I heard his accent, I immediately said, "Please remove me from your list." He told me to say, "I love you". I repeated, "Please remove me from you list." He said he would, if I said "I love you. I said, "Just do it." He asked, "Do what?" We went round and round till he finally just hung up. I have no clue why he called. LOL
This guy's accent was so bad he couldn't come close to pronouncing my name right (it's a real easy name to pronounce). He hung up on me after I kept asking him who he was trying to call. This was very unfortunate because I usually spend as much time as I can trying to sell these scammers my lawn mower....! These calls are coming in once a twice a day from various hijacked phone numbers. Yes, it was a call center. These must pay these pin-heads a bag of rice a day to make spam calls. Most people know it is a scam but if they only find ONE gullible person they will make a fortune off of that call.
A man with an Indian accent said he was from Microsoft tech support. He said my computer had been hacked. I said Microsoft does not contact customers by telephone. He was calling from Jasper, Alabama.
Does Microsoft ever contact consumers by telephone?
