OK - I understand the skepticism we all have regarding phone calls and never knowing whether they are fraud or not. I can personally say that this number is not fraudulent as I have an account with Regions and they were calling to let me know that I had overdrafted my account and to ask if I could deposit funds to bring my account to a positive balance again. If you are receiving calls and you do not have an account with REGIONS BANK - you can simply call the number back, provide them the phone number they were calling and advise them that you do not have an account with them. I'm sure they will removed your number. Or you can just block them. Whatever works best for you.
This is a call from Regents Bank. Never heard of them. They hire idiots to call and say they are a debt collector. I don't owe them are anyone else money. I block them. The idiots start calling at 8:15 in the morning which is against the law but I'm keeping a record. They will owe me money before its over with.
I understand your frustration on the calling times however, under the Fair Debt Collection Practice Act, they can call between the hours of 8:00 am - 9:00 pm. It stinks, I know.
