OK - I understand the skepticism we all have regarding phone calls and never knowing whether they are fraud or not. I can personally say that this number is not fraudulent as I have an account with Regions and they were calling to let me know that I had overdrafted my account and to ask if I could deposit funds to bring my account to a positive balance again. If you are receiving calls and you do not have an account with REGIONS BANK - you can simply call the number back, provide them the phone number they were calling and advise them that you do not have an account with them. I'm sure they will removed your number. Or you can just block them. Whatever works best for you.
Whoever it is calling, continues to leave several voice messages on my phone, on a daily basis. Most, if not all, the messages left read like this:
●notice how they NEVER ask for a specific individual? ● 》BOGUS!!!!!!
**"This is an important call from regions Bank? Our business hours are Monday through Thursday 07:00 AM to 08:00 PM Friday seven ... am to 04:30 PM and Saturday 08:00 AM to 12:00 PM Central time. Please return our call at 1(888)231-5461 you and our regular business hours. Once again this is an important call from regions Bank. Please return our call at 1(888)231-5461 this communication maybe doing a test to collect a debt and any information obtained will be used for that purpose.**"
