The calls from (206) 200-7100 and (206) 200-6011 seem to be the same type of call from a cruise company. They both start with a loud long fog horn. They are both very persistent, one or the other calls me daily on my cell phone. How did they get that phone's number? Today it was Friday, Sept. 21, 2012 @ 2:20 p.m from the. (206)200-6011 number.
The same company is calling me again. "This is your captain" ... and I hang up. I've been getting these calls from various phone numbers with the same schtick for well over a year.
This has resulted in me not answering my phone anymore. How is it that folks can continue to do this? They purposefully do not have a live person ever with these phone calls, so you can't just simply ask them to stop calling. I've reported them so many times, and they simply change the phone numbers. I am TIRED OF THIS and I feel like I'm a victim, having received probably several hundreds of these calls the past year.
Does some rich politician have to be the victim of these calls for something to be done about it? Why the hell isn't someone protecting my rights to not be harassed by these companies?
Did you know there is a $1,000 fine (per incident) for unsolicited calls, if they continue calling after you inform them not to? To get your money, you'll have to record them calling and you telling them to "take me off your contact list". Take a copy of the call to court and you can get your money. This has been done many times by people sick of getting SPAM calls.
