A woman with indian accent called today and told me that my computer was involved in illegal activities.
I said: "Do not tell me you are from Microsoft", she said "No I'm not from Microsoft, but Microsoft has signed your ip address over to our company". I told her that my computer is scanned from a security company frequently and hung up. Why are this people not taken out of business?
Ya exactly it's those idiots posting stuff.. They're so stupid when they called me I could hear a car honking in the background.... I asked her something about my computer and the dumb [***] hung up.... Get a life you idiots. ... Karma is a [***] hope you get in a car accident on the way home for waking us up early on the only day I can sleep in. You guys are a bunch of idiots learn ENGLISH
Good antivirus software will run you about $30. a year. Microsoft supplies a decent one for free. Once installed these products update themselves. We all know these people are running a scam, but I wouldn't turn over control of my computer to anyone. Don't click on strange links, don't open strange email attachments. We all know what Homer Simpson would say, don't we? . . . Doh!
Woman call with heavy accent said my computer downloaded bad data from the internet. She demanded that I go to my computer right now. My response was that I could not understand her. She responded that she had called before about the same problem with my computer; which is interesting as I had a similar call about 2 weeks ago from a 1-800 number. I hung up on both callers as I feel that both are trying to 'get' information, not 'fix' my computer.
Just got a call from them on my home line....calling about my Windows PC. Told him I was an IT tech for a company and that I'm well aware of my Windows PC. He said "Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year" and hung up. Guess he really rirnt want to talk about my Windows PC anymore...
