This person called my mom saying the same thing about suing her. Please do not give them any information. My mother is older so this scared her even though she does not owe the IRS. When I called the number back, the message stated that the person at this number can not receive calls and then the call disconnects. THE IRS WILL NOT CALL YOU!!!!
I received this call, did not answer and went to voicemail. The voicemail was an automated woman's voice stating that the IRS has filed a lawsuit against me and I need to return the call as soon as possible. I returned the call and a woman with an Indian accent answer the phone stating she works for the IRS. This is a scam, gave her a piece of my mind.
