SCAM ALERT! While I was taking a nap these people called and my husband thought he was the tech that was checking our computer and turned all our desk computers over to them. I got up and saw what was going on and didn't like my husband's explanation, so I looked at caller ID and checked google, with my laptop, and found they were a scam. Yelled to my husband who told the guys his wife was calling him and they let him off the phone. I told him to unplug everything including modem internet everything. Which, bless his heart for once he obeyed, and after calling a friend who fixes computers he went and deleted the files that contained the instructions to share his computer with those scammers. Whew! My husband has early dementia and this was very scary. Don't let them do this to you.
got a call from this number when I was not home, left no message. caller id indicated"Washington Call". I'm registered on the MO No-Call, but these [***] still call. There needs to be more enforcement to repel these worthless callers.
Have had numerous calls from this #. Answered today, and an Indian guy with a heavy accent named Max says there is a problem with my PC security. I asked him who he was with, and he said something like "International... Wanted me to turn on my PC, even after I told him I had an important call to make immediately. I think he's using the security breach as a scare tactic to get someone to buy a year contract for PC support.
