SCAM ALERT! While I was taking a nap these people called and my husband thought he was the tech that was checking our computer and turned all our desk computers over to them. I got up and saw what was going on and didn't like my husband's explanation, so I looked at caller ID and checked google, with my laptop, and found they were a scam. Yelled to my husband who told the guys his wife was calling him and they let him off the phone. I told him to unplug everything including modem internet everything. Which, bless his heart for once he obeyed, and after calling a friend who fixes computers he went and deleted the files that contained the instructions to share his computer with those scammers. Whew! My husband has early dementia and this was very scary. Don't let them do this to you.
get the same call everyday, 1st time I answered and he said same thing as someone trying to get my info, got rude with him and hungup, call everyday since. 3-4 months ago call call from 542-386-9975 souns like same guy and wanting me to turn on computer as I'm not home during day; reported number to no call and now just started getting daily calls from this number
received call week ago and he says someone is trying to access my accounts, etc; I was rude to him and he won't give up. I threaten to turn him in for harassment as he sounds like and has same scenerio as phone number 542-368-9975 which I went thru for months until I reported the number to Do Not Call, now this number is a daily call I never answer
