If you get a call from 206-397-1900, Credit Services, and are on the Do Not Call List, call
Christoper Stone at the FTC, 202-326-3138. Federal Trade Commission
I spoke with him on 3/15 and filed a Report.
I have received more than 12 calls from this company in 2 years.
Do NOT give any of your info, this may be an identity theft ring !!!!
You answer and their recording starts about how "your "account is in jeapordy but ther'es no need to panic"...We've gotten this company's calls SEVERAL times despite being on the DNC registry and the State of Florida's DNC. I just reminded the person I got thru to that they had previously been given 8 verbal Cease and Desists and were in violation when she hung up on me. When you call back all you get is a recording saying to press 1 to be removed from their "preferred list". It doesn't do any good. If you live in Florida contact the Department of Agriculture. Believe it or not they are the division to handle these harassing calls.
***Important note: if you don't have the "required" info such as their address, etc, you are allowed to DOWNLOAD the form, fill it out to the best of your ability, and MAIL it in. I used to be in radio and dealt with many scams. This advice was given to me by an agent, and it worked. Last time I did that the company ended up on WCPX Orlando getting busted. If you live in another state, check to see if your Dept. of Ag handles solicitors.
I didn't pick up. They had a message that said they were calling because there was a limited time left to make a special offer to lower the loan to 6 7/8%. My Caller ID said: Out of Area
