Got a call from 716-795-0239 was able to get a grant 9,700 dollars had to buy a verify voucher for 250.00 when i went to get so called voucher i call him ( sean marsh) ext 1011 at 206-451-8263 he would stay on phone with me until info was given, from a wal greens or cvs, then i`d go to wal mart western union for said money, was fishy so i didn`t bite
This Indian accented guy called from the "United States Grant Department", not that there is such a thing, saying I had been selected to receive a grant for $9,700. I can use the money as I wish, but they ask that I do nothing illegal with it, such as buy drugs. I would need to call a "senior official" at 206.451.8263 before I could go to Western Union to get my cash money. I asked them to just mail me a check several times but that was not possible.

I needed to go to Walgreens or Walmart, Western Union and fill out yellow form to get voucher. I would pay $250 for voucher but I would not lose it, I would be able to spend it. He then transferred me to a senior official. He confirmed, that I would need to call him at 206.451.8263 when I got to Western Union, and he would walk me thru the process. He asked for my cell phone number which I refused to give and told him I didn't have $250 to pay WU. He said if I didn't get the voucher they would have to donate my grant to the military. I said that I would like it to go to the VA Hospitals. He said only the military and not the VA. He sounded frustrated and said to call him if I went to Western Union and hung up.
Caller said he had Federal grant money in the amount of $9700 for me, and it was from "US Common"... he said "you've paid your bills on time" and that I hadn't declared bankruptcy and that I was in a low income bracket. He said I would receive "free money" and that I just had to go to a Western Union Store to collect the cash "on a re loadable card that I could spend anywhere." He said I would need to buy a voucher for $250 for verification, and have a verification number to be able to transfer me more than $4000 in a single day.
I asked how he got my number, and he said that there is a Federal Government Database with that information, so I asked him if he had my name and address. He said he had "that information in front of him" but quickly changed the subject and wouldn't tell me what he had for my name.
By this time I knew it was a scam so I started asking him for information. He said his name was Max Scott... but he had a very noticeable Indian or Pakistani (don't know for sure) accent. He gave me the ID number of "15C98A" as a "file number" and that the money was coming from Washington DC. He was calling, however, from Seattle... (206) 454-1212. He also gave the ID number of AD5812GDS for the Federal identification number. He also said I'd get the $250 back (totaling $9950) when I turned in the voucher making it "free" to me.
