A man from windows called from this number instead of 212-452-3544. He didn't want to take no for and answer and wanted me to purchase protection for antivirus and anti hacker, 3 different versions. He kept saying my computer could go down anytime and when I told him I was strapped for cash, he offered discounts to get me to purchase only today.
Some guys with a Mideastern accent called me saying my computer was exposed to foreign hackers and they told me to log in to my account. They said they were from windows tech support and they told me to do things on my computer, i did but after a while i kept thinking that they were scammers and they got my E-mail and i just hung up because i didn't believe them anymore. I recorded the conversation and well be careful dont fall for that.
Caller claimed to be from Windows tech, that they received info from my computer that I was having problems and may have been hacked and wanted me to sit down at my computer. I refused and he gave me my computer number to reassure me that he was legit. I still refused and got this number and his name Peter Patrick to call back.
